1 box of macaroni & cheese, with cream sauce not the powder

1-2 c flour

3 eggs, whisked

1/4 c milk, mixed into egg

 

Prepare macaroni and cheese according to box directions.

Pour mac & cheese into a square glass dish, or any container that will allow macaroni to spread out to am approximately 2 inch layer.

Refrigerate over night or for a few hours till chilled and hardened together.  When gelled together cut into approximate 2 inch square pieces.

Dip pieces into the egg and milk mixture, then coat with flour.

Submerse into hot oil at 350 degrees for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.

 

the flour and egg wash is a simple batter, you can use any type of batter you want.  the food network has some good recipes for beer batters that would be quite tasty.
