same concept as the flying cross, material and cardboard shapes to cover a large blank wall, these are large enough to fill a wall width of a queen size bed

card board shapes

pieces of material slightly larger by a couple inches or so the same shape as the card board

small package of fiber fill, lay thin layer on back of material to make squares puffy & 3d looking but not too puffed

thumbtacks, to hang, drill a hole in the back of each square just the size of the head of the tack, slip tack into hole and feel for it and push from the front into the wall in the location needed.

lay board on top of fill and centered on material and hot glue the edges to the back of the card board. stretch smooth.

Tip:  go to your local discount store to get your cardboard for free, ask for moving boxes and they should save you some good sizes for getting the right size squares.
